How to Use the Law of Attraction to Get What You Desire

September 22nd, 2008 admin No comments

The law of attraction is a very powerful resource available to all if you know how to use it. The law is always working, whether you are aware of what you are attracting into your life or just attracting on autopilot. Let’s take a look at what it takes to harness the law of attraction to bring what you desire into your life.

Simply put, the law states that like attracts like. In this case we are interested in thoughts attracting like thoughts, and thereby becoming things.

When you think, you are sending out vibrations to the universe. Everything in the universe vibrates at a certain frequency. When you match your vibration to the vibration of what you desire, it will be attracted to you.

Problems occur because the law of attraction is looking at the thoughts coming out of your subconscious as well as your conscious mind. While it is true to some extent that your subconscious is programmed by your conscious mind, your subconscious has a program of its own. It controls things such as breathing, heartbeat, organ function, etc.

Your subconscious also has been programmed by outside stimuli since the day you were born, and some of those early programs are still working now. The trick is to get those sometimes warped ideas out and replaced with up to date ones. This way the law of attraction can be used to attract things you want now instead of what you wanted (or thought you wanted) then.

The best tool to use is meditation. Using all your senses, get the picture in your minds eye of what it is you desire. Really feel it as if it is happening now. Your subconscious will not be able to tell the difference between what is real and what is imagined. Eventually what you are trying to attract will be drawn to you.

Welcome to SelfImprovementBasics.com

The definition of self improvement is;

‘the improvement of one’s position, skills, or education by one’s own efforts’

Your improvement (or development) in your early years is controlled by parents, educational institutions, and to a degree, governments.

Once your statutory education has been completed, it can be far too easy to presume you have reached your peak. Whenever you start a new job, you experience some form of training, which can be translated as improvement or development, but to attain all your goals you must take it upon yourself to improve yourself.

Why Is Self Improvement Important?

Self Improvement has long been a subject avoided by the masses. That is until recently. With life increasingly becoming more stressful and fast-paced, more and more of us are searching for some form of help in improving our lives.

We present to you SelfImprovementBasics.com - a site solely dedicated to providing answers to the questions you may have. As we progress through life together, this site will grow and grow. Our experiences, challenges, positives and negatives will shape the future of SelfImprovementBasics.com.

Succeed With This Goal Setting Process

September 22nd, 2008 admin No comments

The following steps guide you to a successful goals setting process.

1. Write them down. Committing your goals to paper creates a road map for success. You begin to program them into your subconscious mind, which in turn begins to work towards their achievement.

2. Use your imagination and describe your goals as vividly as possible, as if they were already a reality. Describe them using your five senses and add heaps of emotion. Emotion adds tremendous power to your goals.

3. Be specific. The clearer you are about what you want in life, the more readily it will manifest itself. Social research has proven that specific and challenging goals result in better performance then vague foals, no goals, or people simply trying to “do their best.” 4. It is smart writing your goals in present time, as if you are living them already. Say “I am” not “I am going to”.

5. Be positive. The outcome depends on our focus: rather than avoiding negative outcomes focussing on striving toward positive outcomes and success will come. People setting ‘avoidance goals’ (such as ‘I will stop smoking’) tend to be less happy, less satisfied with life, and more anxious than others. Positive goals put us in a positive state of mind, and are mentally associated with positive memories and experiences, whereas avoidance goals are typically associated with memories of failures and accidents.

6. Be 100% committed to whatever you do, especially to your goals. As Napoleon famously said, “If you start to take Vienna - take Vienna .” Underachievement is often caused by lack of commitment and doubt about the worth of a goal. If you achieve your goals and decide that you want something else, then go for that!

7. Choose goals that stretch your abilities and yet are within what you believe is possible. People who set more modest goals tend to accomplish less then those who set challenging goals for themselves. As Emerson said, “We aim above the mark to hit the mark.” Tune In next week for the other 9 steps of goal setting.

Thoughts Of The Day Goal setting is like exercising- You start off light then as you get stronger you can handle more and more. The key is in starting - Remember- Any goal is better then none!

If you want to have more love, happiness, health and financial abundance in your life, coaching is the way to go. Start opening your mind and dream about what would all be possible in your life.
